Without a doubt, the most enjoyable day in Slangerup for the whole family! Snake City Jazz Festival invites everyone interested, with or without wristbands, to a street party filled with good music, cheap beer, street food, and, of course, plenty of flea market treasures!

Come and make a good deal or rent a flea market stand to part with your children’s discarded toys or some of the items taking up space in your garage.

At 10 AM, the festivities kick off with an energetic jazz street parade through Kongensgade!

At 12 PM, there’s another parade through the town, and this time, you are invited to join!! We hope you’d like to participate in the parade – see more under: Umbrella Competition.

Where, When, and What?

Kongensgade will be closed to traffic from 07:00 to 18:00. The entire town center becomes a large marketplace with various stalls. The town’s flea market takes over the southern end of Kongensgade. Buying, selling, and trading everything imaginable. On Rådhuspladsen (Town Hall Square), there will be entertainment in the tent from 10:00 to 15:00, as well as the opportunity for a cold beer and lunch from one of our food stalls. Associations and clubs contributing to the cultural community in Slangerup will be present in Kongensgade around “Den Gamle Smedje” (The Old Forge).

Rent a flea market stand!  Rent a stand

A flea market stand is approximately 3×3 meters for only DKK 195. If one stand is too small, just rent two. Associations and clubs can get a free stand. Set-up between 7:30-09:00. Tear-down at 15:00. Rental is done via the shop.
